Here, cocoa grows alongside tropical birds, rare plant species, and an extraordinary richness of biodiversity.
Zorzal is more than a cocoa-growing region – it is an ecological project. A portion of the land is intentionally left untouched to protect the habitat of the endemic Bicknell’s thrush. Farmers working within and around the reserve receive fair prices and support for implementing sustainable cultivation practices.
