Nicaragua, O'Tuma

In the northern highlands of Nicaragua, around the Waslala region, the cocoa beans for our O’Tuma chocolate are grown. Here, numerous smallholder farmers tend their plots with great dedication, producing cocoa of exceptional quality. They are supported by Ingemann Cacao, a project focused on sustainable farming practices, fair compensation, and precise traceability from farm to bean.
After harvest, the beans are carefully fermented and gently sun-dried – a process that brings out their beautifully balanced aromatic profile.

This cocoa reveals a smooth and rounded flavor profile with notes of vanilla, cognac, coffee, and leather. A chocolate that combines warmth and depth, capturing the craftsmanship and character of Nicaragua in every bar.
